Smoothie bowl recipe
Enjoy me for breakfast, lunch or a quick and healthy summer dinner. I say summer, because I find come the colder months, I tend to need warming up from the inside out come my evening meal. Do you find the same?

And really, let’s face it, who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner? Right?? My kids think its the greatest meal of the week when I offer up breakfast for dinner.
Yes, I do question why I even bother cooking meals for them when they are happy with Moozly yoghurt and fruit served in varying ways. But alas, cooking meals is what i do. Otherwise, what would my kids whinge about come meal time. You’re still with me right? I’m sure I’m not the only parent out there busting my chops to give my kids the healthiest start to life, only to have them use it against me. Well I’ve got to give them something to whinge about, its my parental duty. Or so I tell them.
In its current state as listed below, this smoothie bowl is 100% vegan. And if you are not vegan, that’s cool too. This recipe is also 100% plant based (just like your Doctor suggested you eat, right?)

Don’t like blueberries, swap them out for a fruit you do like.
Don’t like coconut yoghurt? Use another yoghurt of your choice.
Don’t like peanut butter? Swap it for a nut butter of your choice.

Smoothie Bowl Recipe
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup coconut yoghurt
- 1/4 frozen blueberries
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
- 1/4 cup almond/coconut milk
- 1/4 cup XO Nude Moozly
- 1 tbsp. açai powder
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Again, its just as flexi as a gymnast at her finest. Want it thicker, don’t add as much liquid. Want it a bit lighter, something you can drink perhaps, add more liquid. It’s not rocket science, but it will take you to the moon and back.
As suggested, blend until smooth and serve in a bowl. Top with your favourite fruits, Moozly and toppings. And WA-LA you’ve got yourself a delicious, nutritious, protein packed meal.
